Wow what a busy Easter long weekend I’ve had. I didn’t get nearly enough time to read or write but I did get to enjoy the break with my family (whom I don’t get to see very often) and I was able to work on a present for someone very special. My Mom gifted me wool instead of chocolate (I’m pretty sure that’s better for my waist line) and now I have something really pretty to make myself.
Over the long weekend not only did I run a Kindle sale for The Kingston Chronicles, which is ongoing – I’ve extended it until 6th of April, but my Goodreads Giveaway came to an end.
Thanks to everyone who entered the giveaway. I was amazed at the response it had. I wasn’t expecting so many entries. That really made my day when I saw the final count, as well as the amount of readers who added The Kingston Chronicles to their To Be Read shelves on Goodreads. Congratulations to the ten winners! For privacy reasons I won’t mention their screen names but I hope they are going to enjoy The Kingston Chronicles when they get the chance to read it.
I’ve been a bit sick over the tail end of the festive period but I’m gradually getting back to normal. I’m trying to get back into my usual writing routine but life is so hectic over the next couple of weeks. As always I’ll have to settle for doing my best. My focus has been split between Samhain Sorcery and another novel. I’ve almost finished the first draft of both. I had hoped to have both drafts finished by now, but I haven’t so I’m going to shut up and head over to my word document and get back to writing! My next blog post will be this coming Sunday 8th of April. I’ll be discussing art practice and journaling and how important it is to me as a tool for growth.
